Would you also recommend desaturating an image if it were a fashion shoot where the clothing is paramount? In this case I would be talking about an editorial not a catalog shoot.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722364592267293957.post-66950670577239758622011-03-25T12:27:45.548-07:002011-03-25T12:27:45.548-07:00Hm, I'm sure that didn't work when I tried...Hm, I'm sure that didn't work when I tried it, but I shall try again just in case! I was just...Thanks for posting, awesome tutorial!

I was just wondering, when you created the curves adjustment layer and you said you selected a few target points from the image to adjust, which then appeared on the curve line as you clicked various parts of the image...how did you select them? When I tried, similarly to in your video the point moves about on the graph line as I hover over my image, but I can't lock a certain target point onto the graph!

Thanks,
JessJessica de Mattoshttp://www.jessicademattos.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722364592267293957.post-27633288952546069062011-03-24T21:01:57.922-07:002011-03-24T21:01:57.922-07:00Alt-click your mask and it'll show you in red ...Alt-click your mask and it'll show you in red what you've masked :)

Cheers!Charles Lucimahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13960242106614495688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722364592267293957.post-49805172386790584562011-03-24T20:36:21.701-07:002011-03-24T20:36:21.701-07:00Great tutorial! Also, when you were using your action, you masked out a portion to see where you'd painted (the untouched areas showed up as a red overlay on the image)...would you mind saying how you did that?

Thanks, keep up the great work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
